Any more info on this? It's up for preorder.
just wait...call them and make sure it can fully control main injectors, timing, boost, etc and isnt just an add on For p/i and meth etc

Looking at the M130 spec, it looks like it's an add-on for PI and not for DI.
which would be a bummer And imo overpriced. Hopefully is the first step towards the m182 style replacement Ecu.

i suspect once the M Boiā€™s canā€™t get their t00ns they will get something figured out. Hopefully that had trickle down development effect. There are simply too many cars on this bosch system....

APR has cracked the Audi version of the ā€˜21. Im reaching out to some buddies to see if I can determine what similarities (if any) overlap to the BMW. Could be the Audiā€™s didnt get as complex a lock, or theyre just better at getting around it. ?

Someone on FB (Toyota Supra MK5/MKV Owners Club) said that he has a 6/6/20 ECU date and it is Tunable.

Might be an exception rather than the standard

That sounds like a rare outlier, maybe it was an earlier ECU that was refurbished and then a later date decal put on it.

There are also a few used ECUs out on ebay right now for like 800 bucks.
What would it take to use a 2020 ECU in a 2021? Like how involved would the process be since I assume it wouldnā€™t be a direct swap?

Or would it be possible to just drop in an unlockable 2021 ECU into a 2021 model assuming itā€™s stock (the ECU not being flashed I mean)?

Cause also theoretically then could the ECU just be swapped out the flashed one for the original stock one every time you take it to Toyota and they wouldnā€™t have any logs showing the ECU was flashed?
