I'm confused. That is what a "piggyback" unit is.


I don't think you need to defend your purchase anymore. I get that it's a brand name but I really don't think at that price point, it'd be popular. But once again, not trying to criticize you for your decision. It's your money and if you're happy with it. Well. Damn the rest.

Yeah it’s definitely not going to be popular that’s for sure. No denying that it’s not cheap. Just figured I’d share if anyone is interested and wanted to see what it looks like. I’m very happy with it that’s all I care about.

Saw a guy on Facebook that said a guy in Russia had cracked the ECU lock. Might be true. If they can rig the election, then surely they can crack Bosch's little lock on the ECU. ?

Any updates from tuners on crack progress? New details? Roadblocks? At this point it feels like reaching out to the community for help may be a good step.

I saw Billet Design post on fb something about successfully unlocking A91 Supra ECU's on Mar 27th. Does your post say who did it? @Dannyvandelft

If its so real why dont they show proof to put everyone at ease? I will believe when I see it.

I'm thinking of going with a JB4 later, maybe summer. I'm wimping out on tuning even though I have a '20 with an unlocked DME.

It's an DME swap... They figured out how to code an unlocked DME to work in a car that originally had a locked DME. That seems to be how they tuned the locked DME car.
