Oh man this could be big business for Titan if they’re the only ones able to unlock!
Made before July.I wonder what this is all about?
Yea I have a 6/20 build date as well and soho sent me the ecutek cable To double check it’s tuneable . Should have a definite answer tomorrow when it arrivesWhew! just confirmed with a tuners app and their generous email back and forth time that my 2021 build date June/20 is NOT Bosch locked
maybe, maybe not.Made before July.
I wonder what this is all about?
NoYou think the ECU locks are pandemic related?
It likely has little to do with Toyota and more to do with Bosch trying to protect their intellectual property and fixing a security flaw that has existed for a year. Bosch is fairly active in trying to secure their computer technology. It's good they have found a way to unlock them. Makes me wonder what Toyota is trying to protect or if the trans/certain other points are unable to be fully controlled
Maybe they were talking about A91s like the one in this video making 700+HPmaybe, maybe not.
Its confusing. And the marketing teams dont always work with tuners and arent in the know of all terminology. It happens all of the time. It didn't help that toyota at one point referenced 2021 as A91's...wow a race shop like Titan can't even differentiate between an A90 and A91... And 700+HP ain't nothing new for this platform
