We've had our exhaust system completed and installed on the car for about a week now. It retains the stock valve motor so that comfort and sport modes have different exhaust notes. We used a true 3.5" diameter pipe from the downpipe back to the Y.

Sounds incredible! I love that blue in the sunlight too, it really shows the lines of the car.

Looks and sounds brilliant. How's the ground clearance with the 3.5"?

Thanks! The clearance is fine with the 3.5", it's a touch lower than stock up by the transmission, but at every other point it's not the lowest part of hte vehicle.

I'm aiming to price it around the $2k mark. They will all be hand made here in Miami using TIG welded 304 stainless, mandrel bends, etc.. Since this was made on the car it's all one piece at the moment. We're going to section it for easier shipping and assembly. The valve assembly is casted aluminum and since we have experience with these from our BMW market, we've already gone through the R&D of dialing the valve in to eliminate any rattles while still allowing smooth operation.

$2k for a single midpipe, dual exhaust catback? Bit pricey if you ask me. I understand it's a BMW motor and they like to overprice their shit, but us Toyota/Honda/Subaru/Mazda modders are more down to earth. A catback like this from this material shouldn't be much more than $1k. A little more if you add blacked out tips. For $2k I'd expect more.

I'm just going to wait for some of the Japanese companies to make one. Their prices are usually very reasonable.

$2K would be ok if it included the catted downpipe, but for just the catback, that’s a lot to get a little more noise.
