Yeah, I get that. I can handle pihole on the technical side, I even have about 5 abandoned pi's from projects past that would work just fine, I just don't have the time or desire to maintain one more thing out there on my network. NextDNS has worked perfectly, can be used on all devices (or a whole network at a time via the magic of DHCP), and is $20/year. Worth it.
I'm down for $20. I'll mess with it later. As with most of these apps, the instructions they give to change settings don't match up with phones menus.

Ritz Carlton cruise line and any other related shit the Siri microphone (or Alexa) have heard me and my wife saying in the background. To make matters worse, I’ve been clicking on the ads that are really interesting. Lawd help me! What have I done? I’m really starting to dig these tailored ads

Yeah same.I do set up my devices to give me ads to my liking. It’s some dumb question, somewhere in the iOS, every time you set up a new Apple device. I’d assume it asks peeps the same thing for Windows or Android or whatever. I just say yes to it “for a better ad experience”
