I would say probably 1 out of every 4 Supras sold has had this warning. Search the forum, it's all over the place. Batteries are drained on the showroom floor because the cars are not powered off correctly or completely. Battery needs to be replaced, and the new battery registered with the car.Has anyone had a ‘replace battery’ alert they successfully reset? Mine came with it & the Supra maintenance specialist has been out of pocket for a month!

Mine had this same problem on day one and they took care of it before delivering to me.
Thanks for the reply. Lucky you! I hope my battery isn’t actually low! They acted like they had just gotten the car in. They should still clear the error message. It won’t go away on its own They CAN charge the battery and re-register it but I would insist they replace it under warranty as the life of the battery could be reduced. Thanks for the reply. You can set the car to power down when the door opens. It’s a setting in the system. But to manually shut it down, hold down the volume knob for a few seconds.how do you power it off correctly?
They charged the battery & reset the alert. Told me to always lock the car to make it power down. Thanks for the reply. Lucky you! I hope my battery isn’t actually low! They acted like they had just gotten the car in. I guess time will tell!!
