Hi,

I went today to the Sac Raceway, great people running today. My best was 11.6 s with 123.9 mph, worst 11.7 124 mph.

I really need tires and practice, this trap speed is for a high 10s run.

The setup is just AMS Downpipe and the MST CAI, with the OTS Stage 2 E30 from BM3. I don't think more is needed for street use. It was 70 °F and the carr have full weight.

Here the Log:

are you on stock MPSS?
Yes, in the street I can't even floor it anymore, even in 4th gear still spins, the torque is stupid crazy. Any recommendation? I am looking at 295/30/19 in the back and move the 275 to the front.

Will do! now I am wondering, would be 295/35/19 too high? The full diameter with the stock 275/35/19 is 26.6", putting 295/30/19 would be exactly 26" while 295/35/19 would be 27.1", so, 35 is closer to stock, a little higher, do you think this will fit?

Im personally going with Toyo r888r 265-285. I hear these are The tires to get outside of running a dr or S

Yep, I am going tomorrow morning to my closest American Tire to order the pair of 285/35/19 r888r. Are you going with 30 or 35? I think 35 would make it look better and also more tire is always better on this low profile tires.

im actually fitting a pair of those on my stock LE rear wheels for the street so im not always running around on a 17" drag radial.

For now
keeping the mpss up front?

For now yes. Just looking for better str8 line traction at the current moment. Once I hit the road course I'll adjust the front setup accordingly

I just ordered the r888rs in 285/35/19 this morning, I should get them at the end of the week, and yeah just for the back, I'll keep the MPSS in the front.

I just want to be able to pull in second gear without either, sending the trans into limp mode or crashing into the crowds mustang style.

Good runs man. Just keep in mind, the more stickier the tires, the more stuff you will end up breaking at the dragway... Especially how much tq this car puts out.. lol
a bad set up will break more things than a dialed in car ever will

Bad setup or tune is obvious.

I was more talking about stickier tires = traction = more stress on the transmission and axles
