Anyone install a Vargas GC or GC+ Turbo , I just want a mid- turbo upgrades nothing crazy
500whp-550whp , and pure prices and lead time are up , so i was wondring anyone have vtt gc vargas turbo in their supra?

Plenty of people have installed GC turbos. They fail just as badly as pures lol

On Supras? I know they are popular for F80s, F30s, etc.

thats bad for a 2500$ + core turbo , so u recommend vargas for like light use i dont want to push huge power just more powerful daily

I'm not challenging you here whatsoever, but how come we never hear about the pure failures? I have also heard this from people in real life but I never see anything about it on forums or FB.

As far as Vargas, that guy is junk and his products are junk, I wouldn't even take one for free.

I agree. Most people stay quiet due to pure does have a great warranty program. Basically 1 year no questions asked lol. I haven't heard of a warranty being denied.

To put it into perspective I have a customer who waited 4 month for his pure800 just got it 2 weeks ago and seals are already dumping oil everywhere. I also had a customer install a GC about a month ago and compressor wheel completely sheared off in about 3 days.

My pure800 lasted 3 months before it was dumping oil everywhere.

Yea seems like luck of the draw on some turbos. Same with Precision turbos. First one I had on my Evo died in a month, second one lasted forever and I beat the living daylights out of it at 700hp+.

We sold over 160 Vargas Supra kits, I did a quick search, and I was not able to find any warranty request on them.

We sold over 100 Pure turbo Supra kits, and no warranty request was found.

I can do a deeper search for a warranty request, I might find 1 or 2 missed by my quick search, but even at this rate, it clearly shows both kits are reliable.
