Yeah, it's pretty much the same. All the hooks and hangers and spaces line up. The only difference which is annoying. Is when connecting to the downpipe. The 2.0 has a vband type connector and the 3.0 has a slip on type. Even though they line up perfectly. You would need to cut the Vband from the 2.0 exhaust and weld it or make an adapter. Cost me about 100 bux to do at a shop when I had my exhaust installed.are these they the same? can a 6 cylinder catback be used on a 4 cylinder?
asking because I dont really see what kind of choices we have for the 4's
thanks
It wasn’t titanium correct your exhaust ?Yeah, it's pretty much the same. All the hooks and hangers and spaces line up. The only difference which is annoying. Is when connecting to the downpipe. Correct it's not titanium...I would love to get a Tomei exhaust but I don't think the local shops would know how to weld that.It wasn’t titanium correct your exhaust ?
b58 downpipe wont fit b48 but any 3.0 exhaust should fit the 2.0 as long as you have a slip on style downpipe instead of the stock flanged one.I need to do this, with titanium. Is a b48 titanium down pipe available? Or would a b58 work?
In theory this would probably work but most likely this part has to be welded on anyways. Even if it doesnt need the weld, its probably still much cheaper than buying this and having them install.Wouldn't a simple v-band to slip-on adapter work, something like this https://www.getunitronic.com/parts/exhausts/3in-vband-adapter
So if you have the stock dp, which is vband connection for exhaust
And aftermarket 3.0 exhaust which is slip-on style, the adapter would make the two fit and you can slap it on at home. Am I missing anything here
