Best Oil for Stage 2 2020 in Hot Climate (Soflo)

Hey guys, so a friend of mine, not me, I am bone stock and under warranty and keeping it that way, asked me to ask the forum what is the best Oil for a bm3 stage 2 car running 93, and rarely e30 map, for his 2020. We are in South Florida so it is hot hot, like 90+ everyday, besides winter, which is coming up. but I know the stock oil is like water, and not good for the heat. thinking either 5w-30 or 40, but some people say 40 is more for a car running e50. Reliability is number 1 concern and ofc motor safety. "he" gets it changed every 5k miles. thank you in advance! Sexy shot of the AWE just for fun!

Go 5W-30 for daily. If you are tracking go 5W-40 IMO. We can have fist fights about Oil brand all day long. Been done on here before.

A 0-30 that meets the factory spec and or a 5 you wont tell the difference overall. Way too much over thinking on oil. Does he get analysis done regularly?

I would just run 0w30 or 0w40 and call it a day since the second number is what you really need to worry about anyways Bc it’s the rating for the oil when it’s hot. First number is upon start up (cold temperatures) You want it as thin as possible so the turbo and motor can get oil right away. But it’s really personal preference.
