Hey guys, wanting to add the carbon fiber version of this wing, not planning to color match as I think I'd prefer the CF contrast on Turbulence grey with stealth ppf. Where have others purchased and any recent pics of current users? Thanks in advance !!

Not great pics but...
Been installed for a few months...
Mines fiberglass and color matched....I think it looks killer on the car...
Definitely different than the street hunter wing EVERYONE has...

@ 100mph the ends of the wing get pretty shakey...don't think it does much for aero but it looks cool..

Btw...I purchased mine used (as new condition)...

That's pretty sick, really sick. Interesting to hear about the lack of rigidty at higher speed. Wish it was more functioning in terms of aero...wonder if the carbon fiber has the same issue or if it's more rigid. Either way looks Amazing!!

Yeah I was pretty surprised how much it flexes at speed...
I'm fine with the flexing as long as it doesn't break...
I'm sure the carbon version is more rigid...

Few things I don't like about the wing though...
1st..4 little bolts hold the wing on to a plastic trunk lid...just doesn't feel very secure..
2nd...no gaskets to seal between the wing and trunk lid...
Not the biggest of deals but trying to find something to protect the cars paint and try to create a water tight seal was a little inconvenient..

The template to drill the holes for the wing is pretty ingenious...
A fiberglass mold of the center of the lid with holes drilled in it....

Overall I'm happy with my decision to get this wing vs others on the market...
Love the way it looks on the car...

Thanks for the honest info, this helps a lot. No rubber seals, gasket under the wing? So it's just touching the trunk? Any scratching?
Definitely coolest wing for the car available imo. Really makes it look like a super car!

No...I definitely didn't put it straight on the deck lid...
I bought 1/16 closed cell foam and made a few gaskets...
Not hard but imo should of come with the wing...

If you decide to get the carbon version please post pics stereo you install it...

I'm not a huge carbon fiber fan but wonder if that version would've looked better on my car....oh well..Haha

Good luck with your decision

The fact you had to MAKE your own seals kinda throws me off, that and the weak mounting you mentioned. These wings in general aren't cheap!!! You've helped me a lot. Will post what happens. Gonna do more research now!

I think color matched is the way to go, i go Seibon route, definitely color matching. Just thought this particular wing would look better in CF on with the grey.

Yeah...definitely inconvenient but not hard...and yes for the money a $2 seal definitely should be included...
As far as the weak mounting I'm considering put some type of bracket on the underside of the lid just to give a little rigidity to the deck lid were the wing mounts...

Honestly though i has held up well the past few months...

Couple tips if you install...
Use blue loctite on the bolts and DO NOT over tighten the bolts...
It will cause dimples in the deck lid...
Ask me how I know?
Was an easy fix with a hair dryer though...lol

Well hot diggity...I would have a family friends shop install, not so keen on drilling hole myself and doing all that. Not incapable, just wish it was a more "complete" product when it comes to install.
IE structural Brackets/gaskets. Would take their team two squats and a squint to include them. After this short conversation, starting to lean toward the seibon.

If the Supra was a second fun car for me I'd probably go ham, but alas it's my main squeeze!

Depending on price and wait time, reach out to P2uned. That’s where I got mine from. Awesome guys over there.

Hmmm this 350 dollar eBay special and the aimgain in frp seem like complete rice, are these adding any downforce at all? 275s on the back already lose grip fairly easily when running it hard. Are there any decent looking that aren't big wings and functional for the supra? Seibon looks cool but not sure it actually does anything.
