Car won’t rev past 2-3k rpm and makes this whine noise. if anyone has any insight as to what this could be please let me know. i thought it could be a boost leak so i replaced the charge pipe and that changed nothing.

also any insight on turbos in stock or for sale would be great :)

It sounds like you installed a super charger. o_O

Any background info.? Car mods and when it occurred?

Have you tried clearing codes (even if it's not showing any) and reverting back to prior map?
theres no codes to clear, but i haven’t flashed an older map yet.

Hmm, not sure that could be, it's an odd noise for sure. Not necessarily a blown turbo though.

What did Visconti say?

Do you have any data logging from before noise? If so compare to now and see if any of the parameters are different. This might help indicate where the problem is.

You should reach out to Visconti too. They might be able to help diagnose. We can only speculate here.

Honestly, have you checked your cars oil level? Do you have an oil leak anywhere? If you did a recent oil change, what oil was put into it?

Also check for debris in the turbo and look for a crack. This is why I tell people to keep OEM parts. Sure it’ll take you a good weekend to replace all parts, but at least you won’t be out $2000+ for a turbo

I reached out to Marshall from Visconti and his advice was just to take off the turbo and check it
