Hello My Fellow Supra Fans,

So I was thinking since these cars are BMW based and we all know about the High Performance M line of BMW. Why couldn't the M Carbon Brakes bolt right up to the Supra? From what it looks like these cars have the same Caliper Bolt spacing. I know the Supra has more than efficient brakes but come on we all get excited over some Carbon Ceramic 2 piece rotors and 6 piston Brembo's. Anyone on here that has a Supra already and a buddy that has a M2 or an M3 with this package that could test fit this theory?

BMW Part Numbers:

Right Front Caliper - 34117850464
Left Front Caliper - 34117850463

Rear
Right Rear Rotor - 34212284808 (380mm x 28mm)
Left Rear Rotor - 34212284807 (380mm x 28mm)

In theory, it's possible... but if it's all same knuckle as M2/M3. If not, you'll need adapter for calipers.

The question is why would you want to do this other than to brag you have carbon ceramic brakes? I wasn't even interested in optioning it on my M4. It's not ideal for daily driving and cost prohibitive for track use.

Why buy Charmin Ultra Soft, When Georgia Pacific 1 ply does the same thing? Why buy a Gucci Hoodie when Old Navy does the same thing? Why have a Manual when Automatics are faster at shifting? Really this is the dumbest argument when I specifically said "I know the Supra has more than efficient brakes but come on we all get excited over some Carbon Ceramic 2 piece rotors and 6 piston Brembo's".

This is a post seeing if it is possible to do the swap not a "what's practical". If we were practical Supra's wouldn't exist. We would be driving prius's around.

Sorry if my argument got your panties in a bunch. If I donā€™t care about practical I wouldnā€™t be interested in a Supra. Iā€™d sell my house and buy a new Ferrari. Everything is a compromise whether you believe it or not.

Wheel clearance might be an issue, so plan on possibly needing new wheels too.

No. For starters, the pcd, centerbore, and rotor offset is different. F90 rotors would be similar, but would require a custom bracket as they are radial mount and the steering knuckle is different from the upcoming G8x M3/4. Finally thereā€™s the brake servo motor, and recalibration of the ABS Hydro pump.

Not sure why anyone would want to spend $15k for mediocre brakes or have a need to do so.
