Borla ATAK exhaust?

I'm looking at a new exhaust for my a91...
Wondering if anyone has thoughts on the borla ATAK..
Not looking for obnoxiously loud...
Not looking for chrome tips...
DEFINITELY not looking to drop 3k on an exhaust...
I like the sound of HKS(through sound clips anyways) but hate the burnt look tips...
I want something that retains the factory sport valve if possible...

Borla in general makes great sounding exhausts. I was considering this alongside the Active Autowerke because they're single pipe systems; decided on the latter.

Borla does sound nice though

That's 1 of the few sound clips I found...not sure it represents the sound well...its being recorded in a parking garage...
I did have a Borla muffler on my 1986 Porsche 911 which sounded good but was also on a flat 6 vs a straight 6...
I may just get the Borla and hope for the best...

I have the same concern but Borla is known for pretty decent exhaust...I definitely don't like a raspy sound and hoping the borla will be more deep...and NOT obnoxious...
I have an order in with Josh at MerakiAutoworks...
Guess I'll find out soon enough if it's worth the price...

I personally like to find a upstanding business to do all my purchasing from...just makes life easier....all good though....

1 last question...
I saw you have swift springs...do they make noise like the other brands from rubbing together? Do the require the little rubber sleeves over them?
How much more stiff are they compared to oe springs?

I'll check on JB4 on monday and let you know.
They do not make noise, I'd say the Swift are the best springs out there, especially for the price. We have a thread on it in the sponsor suspension section and we have good positive feedback in there.
