I’m about to take delivery of a 6MT, according to the dealer is was built in April of this year, but I can’t seem to find the VIN on the allocation tracker.
They mentioned this may have been a “dealer pull” - can anyone shed any light on what this means?

the car has 30 miles on it apparently, and while I might be crazy, that actually bothers the hell out of me, I think it’s too high and who knows who may have taken it out for a rip. 10 miles… sure…. 30 is a bit much.
Anyway, I’m looking to track down the history on the car or at least see it on a previously updated allocation tracker.
I’m also wondering if it’s possible for the dealership to provide any other details or logs on the car aside from that it arrived a month ago. For example can they prove to me it wasn’t redlined? How many test drives it went on. I feel like one test is too many after I’ve been waiting over a year for my spec to show up somewhere. I’m positive at least one person floored it or took it on a rip by now, maybe even the manager lol. I know some of you don’t believe in proper break ins but I do.

I don't think there is an allocation tracker any more. The individual who used to manage the tracker stopped doing so over a year ago I think? Unless you know of a different site people are using.

Hmm maybe you are right. I was looking thru a file I saved locally that was last updated 3/5/2024. The shared google sheet for it appears to have been updated on 4/4/2024.
Neither have my vin on it

Just fair warning. My car was “built” and in transit for nearly 8 months. The tracker showed all kinds of goofy stuff off and on, including that the vin didn’t exist. One day it showed back up on the tracker and a week or so later, it was at the dealership. 2 miles and in perfect unmolested condition. Trust the process, don’t sign if the car shows up in questionable condition. Best of luck and you’ll love the MT.

This dealer says he filled up with 89 octane…
Though I think he may have used 87 even. Claimed the minimum it can take is 87…

good experience other than this pretty major F-ing deal to me
