Actually, the OEM projection courtesy lights aren't even out in Japan yet. I just got off the phone after a long fox hunt (I've been trying to obtain these for a while now) - I called Toyota Japan, they redirected me to GR Garage, GR Garage redirected me to Toyota Kyohan, and I had to call a couple of Toyota Kyohan stores before I found someone who would give me any information as several of the stores I called would not provide any info to someone who has a Supra abroad. The puddle lights were supposed to come out in August, but I was just now told that the timing of their release is now TBD.

:(

So I have 2 months or so.... But am curious. I know some people say no car cover. Others say yes.

The car is garaged... But it's not some pristine garage. I work outside all the time - even in winter - and it gets dirty out there.

So..... Once bad weather hits and the car is garaged for a couple months....... To cover or not to cover.... That is the question!

And then.... What kind of cover??

Assuming you received the cover by now - how do you like it? I'm considering this as well.

Prior to picking up my Supra I had a 2018 Audi S4 (B9). I bought the OEM car cover for that, and after selling the car I held onto the cover.

I used it a few times on the Supra already and it works like a charm. I slightly larger than the Supra, for obvious reasons, and for that it completely covers the car and wheels. Toyota doesn't have a cover for the car right now so a generic one should do the trick. Just make sure the size dimensions work with the Supra length/width.

Cheers,
-V

Hi All - Just wanted to post pics - Recieved this in the mail today!!! (A day early and on my birthday!!!)

Thought I would post some pictures. I paid about $173.00 with everything I think.

Exterior is very nice. Stretches over the corners. Inside is like a nice warm soft blanket. My garage is often dusty from me cleaning so I wanted something to help protect it.

Congrats, looks good. I guess if it's going to be in the garage that much coverage is enough. Otherwise, people leaving outside want to ensure no animals can get in, they opt for other covers.
Anyhow, where did you get yours from? was there a size choice?

I ordered it from carcovers.com. You put in your model and the have ones that fit based on that.

This was the black satin cover option.

The car will always be in the garage so this was satisfactory for me.

Thanks for the tip! Was actually about to order one from CoverKing. This saved me some cash.

If you put that on everyday you come home, you will only scratch the paint if you don't have full ppf.

Think of it like this, when you drive, you have minor dust pellets on the car still when you drive into the garage. Then putting on car cover you drag it along and pull the dust with you along the paint.

It's good if you are storing it but if you are storing it you need to get the foam for the wheels.
