I mean at brochure numbers 335/365 crank it is... but it’s obviously somewhere around 390/500 crank after the above results, and that’s not underpowered IMO.

Hopefully it's indicative of a no-kidding full production car but regardless, a simple tune should provide some amazing results.

not a new phenomena when it comes to BMWs; thing is, a few people have been saying for months that it is likely rated near whp and everyone scoffed at the idea lol

my real curiosity is the Z4 output though.

For bmw yes, not for Toyota. It’s obviously the same engine hp as the Z4 brochure rating. Why can’t toyota just say 385 or 390 instead of 335. BMW not letting them? Toyota isn’t one to brochure whp numbers, like the Germans like to do.

egh, I'd be careful with that assumption unless someone has dyno'd the Z4. It *may* be a marketing play sure, but the Z4 might make closer to 380whp.

I’m really excited to see those Dyno results. Now if I can get a manual it would be a fun pairing for my weekend drives

I said all along that what Toyota advertised would pretty much be WHP not crank.

As for the Z4, if BMW says it is making 380hp, then you can almost guarantee that it will be making that to the wheels or very close to it if not over.
