We in EU got different engine then USA spec 382hp B58. I havent seen complaints on 2020 2port B58 which is what we still got in EU in the Supra.
Are you 100% on this info? I’m getting so much conflicting information regarding which B58 the supra has in the UK and if it has issues...

I did mine. Didn't see anything unusual. Did a Blackstone report, all was normal. I love how easy the Supra is to service.
No break in material at all, or nothing abnormal? I'm tempted to change mine again this weekend to see if anything else is in the pan.

It's not a problem (for most) to begin with. It clearly states that consumption of 1 quart per 1500 miles is normal and within spec. Just because the "experts" on here don't like it, doesn't make it true. Most that are reporting a "problem" go well beyond 1500 miles. It also states that during the first 10k miles, oil consumption will be higher than normal.
Just 95% of people freaking out over nothing. And 5% with an actual issue.
Don't like to buy oil? Don't buy a performance engine, or a BMW to begin with. :dunno:

And before the "why doesn't the 2020 use oil" reply comes,

It's a lower performance engine. Lower performance, lower consumption. I think a lot of oil gets lost because of blowby. And putting in a thicker oil prevents/reduces that to happen.
?

Well, my lower performance engine puts 500 whp since 1300 miles and yet 0 oil consumption (now 6400, changed the oil at 4300).

Whatever, I don't care, I am just pointing out that the 2020 and even tuned 2020 doesn't have this "not a problem" thing of "normal oil consumption", that's all.

You obviously missed this post, if only you read a little further ahead. Or, maybe ignored it on purpose?

But Danny , I think you missed the main point he was making.

although you claim it’s “normal” and it’s in the manual, the 2020’s are not experiencing any type of oil consumption, not 1qt every 1500 miles. Nothing.

We know you love your Refraction Blue A91 2021 Supra, but it’s ok to admit that there may be something about it that should be of concern. It’s ok. We’re here for you man

His main point was already made by someone else, and I acknowledged that was indeed a good point. So his post was useless.

I've also acknowledged that some have a genuine problem. My car is fine however. So I don't need you to be there for me, but I appreciate it :grouphug:

Not even (arguably) the best sportscar maker in the world is immune. Can happen to any manufacturer at any time.
It seems like this is so hard for some people to understand. Nobody is invincible when it comes to producing cars. Some do better in reliability obviously but EVEN THEN mistakes can happen. Considering this car is still new people just need to let Toyota work out the kinks. First 3 or so years of any new car always has some type of quirk that needs to be ironed out.

Also, EU Z4 is still 340hp 11:1 compression ratio, like 2020 USA Supra and EU Supras.
The new M440i, if I understand correctly, is 2port 340hp B58 + hybird system that achieves 375hp combined, so its not 6port 380hp M440i ver like USA ones.
So if Im not mistaken we got 11:1 2port version still.

Ticked over 2000 miles since my oil change, my entire exhaust is coated with oil from my turbo seal failing, and just saw this after another night abusing the car. Ruh roh

Do you have any photo of the exhaust coated with oil?
Any smoke from exhaust?
Oh a ton every time I stop and then pull away and turn left, no pics but it's literally dripping on the floor and staining my tiles on cold starts when moisture is washing it out.
