Hey guys

I have an option to purchase a CPO 2020 Supra for $43.5k or a brand new 2021 for $54k

The CPO car has about 3,500kms (2,200 miles) on it and is a year old...

Appreciate your thoughts on what would be a better pick ? Does the 2021 performance justify the extra $10.5k difference?

thanks

lots of IF's

What is ultimate goal?
Leaving stock? 2021 definitely.
want to tune? if 2021 has tunable ecu then 2021, else 2020
Also, the price on the 2021 is way too high. You should be able to get that down closer to $50,000 now. Maybe even lower. Many new ones are on autotrader and other sites with asking prices around $50,500. Just two weeks ago I picked up a yellow (extra $425 paint option) 2021 with driver assist for $51,000. On hind site, I may have offered too much as it was my first offer and they immediately took it.

The guy is in Dubai for Chrissakes, why are you sending him to US based used car sites? Just to be a contrarian?

Tough call. I’d opt for the 2020 with that price differential. That or hold out for a CPO 2021.

Buy the 2020. Take the money you saved and put it towards a down pipe and tune. Pocket the rest of the cash and be happy.

Think of it this way, the performance of the 2021 can be had with the 2020 for less money. A tune and downpipe is all you need to hit close or around 400wheel. Thats more performance than the 2021 and you'll spend maybe 3k? Not sure what tuning services charge in Dubai.

Id get the 20.

there is very little noticeability's with 21.

the extra horse power is rubbish. The 20 already puts down 360+ TO THE WHEELS.
