Hey guys, I've been lucky enough to be one of Supra owners. I've always wanted another track car ever since I sold the FR-S (or GT86, or 86, depending on where you are), and I thought why not keep a journal this time? So here we are.

I picked up the car from a dealership near me, by quite a surprise to be honest. I was gonna by the car in February, but they gave me a deal that I couldn't refuse so went ahead and pull the trigger couple of months earlier.

The car doesn't have a lot of mods yet, I will be running the car with SCCA Time Trial series competing in Sport class so all the mods I have right now are within the class regulation, but since it would grow I'll just list here:

Interior:
Cusco x Bride ZETA III Type C
Bride Type FO seat rail kit
Schroth Clubman 2*2 6 point harness
Cusco Power Brace Trunk Harness Bar

Exterior:
Cusco Folding Tow Hook front and back
SunTek Track Pack PPF
Verus Engineering Carbon Fiber Anti-Buffeting Wind Deflector

Powertrain:
MST Performance Cold Air Intake

Brake:
CounterSpaceGarage CP pads
Motul RBF 600

Wheels & tires:
TITAN-7 TS-5 18*10.7 +38 square
Hankook R-S4 275/40R18 square
Bridgestone RE71R (255/35R19 275/35R19 stock size, one and done)

Suspension:
Eibach Pro-Kit lower springs (part number E10-20-046-02-22, out of the car due to wheel fitment issue)
HKS HIPERMAX Touring lower spring kit.

Driver:
Plenty of driver mods needed, A LOT OF seat time is required to unlock this section.

So far it's been a riot, spend 5 days at NCCAR and 1 day on VIR, car is doing well. More to come in 2020.

Keep the track builds coming!

Welcome and congratulations.

When are you planning the install of the seats?

Interested to know if the electronics stay happy or intervene with traction.

Still waiting for my seat rails, but I should have the interior parts installed by the end of January. Iā€™ll let you know, from what Iā€™ve gathered youā€™re likely to get a warning for the airbags but it shouldnā€™t prevent you from turning off the TCS.

Electronics are certainly not happy, the main thing is the side airbag, I have a Bride side airbag resistor installed but still the light came up the first time I fire it up. Based on what we've seen from the F8x M3/4 guys did this would pretty much gonna be down to the coding, which unfortunately we don't have the info to get it done at this point, but the TC still willing to take a day off and obey my shutdown instruction, for now at least. First test date for me is Mar 27-28 at VIR, we'll know for sure after that.

Lower springs and intake system are here, should kick off the install sometime next week. I'll try to get a side by side comparison after I got the springs installed (which means it would involve my shitty photoshop skills)

More stuff going in. Intake, lower springs (FINALLY) and rear brake pads which is long overdue.

Installed Verus Engineering Carbon Fiber Anti-Buffeting Wind Deflector, might have a bit higher, but I'm glad it works well.
