Hey guys, yesterday I opened my passenger door for maybe the 12th time since I’ve owned the car, and this is what I found. Before bringing it to the dealer I wanted to make sure this was not the same on everyone’s car. I have never noticed this before and only have 2000 miles and the car stays mostly indoors. The last pic is the driver side which is untorn. The door does not touch the rubber, and the driver side is pretty solid and doesn’t seem to be as soft as the passenger side, so I’m wondering how it got torn. If you have some spare time please check yours out and see.

    Definitely possible.

I would wager it's also possible that the material is just so cheap that any exposure to intense elements would wear them out...I personally did a wax a month into ownership and the strips already looked beaten. This is with my car in a garage pretty much everywhere I go, except when I visit family.

when i received my car it had what looks like a gash/slash on the passenger window trip up top. my dealer said theyll replace it but its been two weeks and i havent gotten a call back from them.. theres also some major other things mine came with that the dealer said theyll fix but still no words from them. i honestly feel like theyre not taking care for the cars and just want to sell it to get their profit..

Call them, more specifically the guy that sold you the car. Sometimes these things require some elbow grease because you're right they don't particularly care anymore since it's not their car. You might need to call a couple times even. I asked for the trunk mat and had to call my dealer 3 times before they could get it to me.
