Introduction
Hey everyone, I'm starting the build and photos for my GR Supra, which I picked up on 11/29/19. This vehicle is actually the first Toyota I've owned. I am also a current owner of a 718 Cayman GT4. Previously cars I've owned include a '10 GTI, '13 BRZ, '15 WRX, '16 Golf R, and a '19 M2 Competition. My cars have always leaned heavily on OEM+ builds so I expect to be adding TRD parts over time; however, I'll definitely be taking my time to enjoy the car as-is. Hope everyone enjoys the thread!

Installed the TRD trunk spoiler yesterday. There’s already a full thread on this forum documenting an install on it so I’ll just give the tldr: requires two holes to drill, comes with a exact template to line up here to drill, amazing weave and clear coat quality, expensive AF.

Now patiently awaiting the rest of the kit to arrive.

One Year Mark

Been a while since I last updated the build thread. Since that time, the TRD Japan (a.k.a. GR Sports Parts) Aero Kit was added to the car. The only missing piece is the CF door trim. I was on the fence about adding the piece, but I am actually bringing in the TRD wheels, and so, I'll probably do it to finish off the full TRD build.

Overall the kit kind of straddles the line between subtle and aggressive. From afar, it may not be too noticeable compared to the stock car, but then as you approach the vehicle, you see the overtly larger fins. The material quality is amazing as expected, but whether you think its worth the money is up to each individual.

In addition, I've installed the HKS adjustable spring. Rather than going for the default "minimum" 1" drop, I wanted to retain decent clearance on the car (especially for protecting the expensive CF pieces), so had the car set just under 0.5" (15mm). The springs were paired with 15mm spacers from FutureClassic.

That spoiler is sick! I'm getting the Rexspeed Carbon.

Car looks great, as does the spoiler. I have a feeling i'll be enjoying your build. OEM+ is definitely the way to go.

Too many people go over the top with aero/interior CF parts.

Yeah, it's the way I've always gone with my cars, so long as OEM parts are available for the vehicle. Thanks for the support!

Looks good, when you add images you can choose full image so it doesn't send you to a new window when you click on a picture.
oh got it. I sometimes post from mobile so that was the only way I saw. MaybeI’m just not looking hard enough
