Had a photo shoot done with a buddy’s Refraction whose also in-process of his TRD build (this was just before I mounted the wheels unfortunately):

I did the Full Xpel PPF and Clearplex windshield skin. Happy with the Xpel PPF but the Clearplex might have to be redone due to a line in the Film that's looks like a scratch on my Drivers side. Besides that I like your Build very clean?

One Year Mark

Been a while since I last updated the build thread. Since that time, the TRD Japan (a.k.a. GR Sports Parts) Aero Kit was added to the car. The only missing piece is the CF door trim. I was on the fence about adding the piece, but I am actually bringing in the TRD wheels, and so, I'll probably do it to finish off the full TRD build.

Overall the kit kind of straddles the line between subtle and aggressive. From afar, it may not be too noticeable compared to the stock car, but then as you approach the vehicle, you see the overtly larger fins. The material quality is amazing as expected, but whether you think its worth the money is up to each individual.

In addition, I've installed the HKS adjustable spring. Rather than going for the default "minimum" 1" drop, I wanted to retain decent clearance on the car (especially for protecting the expensive CF pieces), so had the car set just under 0.5" (15mm). The springs were paired with 15mm spacers from FutureClassic.

Looks like Toyota copy your built. Congratulations! My 2022 Gr Supra A91 CF Phantom Grey looks similar to your built.

Been a long time since I’ve updated the build but with the end of 2022 here, it’s time to document the major changes that have occurred.

I held back from further adding any modifications for the car for quite a while because I was actually considering selling it. I picked up a 718 GT4 earlier in the year, and with that car in the garage it just didn’t really make sense to have 2 sports cars in the garage. I was planning on replacing the Supra with the new RS3 but after considering the choice for some time I ultimately decided to hold on to the car for longer and see where things go (and since the US still doesn’t get the RS3 hatch, it was a 100% slam dunk decision for me). Here’s the GT4:

And with that decision out of the way it was time to add to the Supra. Started with the GruppeM Ram Air Intake System and the TRD Performance Damper and Brace Set:

The rear bar will, unfortunately, be hidden behind the bumper:

Also a quick install of the Verus Engineering Brake Master Cylinder Brace:

After this came the biggest change on the car, swapping the HKS adjustable springs for a set of JRZ RS Pro Coilovers:

I also decided to lower the car just slightly more:

And that ends the year off. I do have the TRD CF door trim finally to finish the full aero kit, but it’s currently at my ppf installer before it gets on. I also plan on getting the endless brake lines and pads as well. From there on, the last big item would be the TRD slip on exhaust, so as always stay tuned.

I'm just here to support another Supra being taken to the track. Can't wait to see THOSE pictures! Also, it's nice to see someone not afraid to get pain chips/wear on fancy parts. I had CF wheels on my Mustang and the forum guys were loosing their shit because I refused to track the car with aftermarket wheels. LOL. Keep up the good work.

Finally added the cf door trim to complete the full TRD aero kit. Just one item left from the catalog to have the full build.
