Toyota should pay these guys or at the very least send out a helping hand or at the very very least, give them free TIS subscription
Based on CarBuzz article, slightly different take:
$12k... I'm going to have to wait for a preowned one and hope the prices drop enough for me to make that level of investment :'(
Bartosik says the swap will cost "around $12,000 for parts and labor"
I expected that
So, Joel Grannas and now EAG are working on manual MKV swaps. This is good so far.
Well this is exciting news.
I remember EAG from a video when Ed Bolian (Vinwiki) drove their manual converted Scuderia.
"Around $12k" might as well be $20k after everything is said and done.
I just need a console and a tune, everything else should be easy.
Does anyone know what the part number is for an M2 box?
If you guys wanted more proof why Supra didn't come with a Manual. The guys who want it, dont talk with their wallets.
Finally got a chance to drive a manual BRZ today and yeah Supra truly does need a manual.
I am glad that EAG made an OEM manual swap kit for the GR Supra
Yes $12000 is a lot but it includes labor and of course this is a brand new transmission
I am already saving up for the Supra and of course the manual swap
Toyota needs to sponsor this!
