Toyota should pay these guys or at the very least send out a helping hand or at the very very least, give them free TIS subscription
Based on CarBuzz article, slightly different take:
$12k... I'm going to have to wait for a preowned one and hope the prices drop enough for me to make that level of investment :'(
Bartosik says the swap will cost "around $12,000 for parts and labor"
I expected that
So, Joel Grannas and now EAG are working on manual MKV swaps. This is good so far.
Well this is exciting news.
I remember EAG from a video when Ed Bolian (Vinwiki) drove their manual converted Scuderia.
"Around $12k" might as well be $20k after everything is said and done.
I just need a console and a tune, everything else should be easy.
Does anyone know what the part number is for an M2 box?
As we know that now there is tuner to do the manual transmission swap for A90 supra. I am wondering how many of you will actually do it?
UPDATED: Added No not worth it
No, I have a Celica GT4 for stick.
No, but it’s not because I love the ZF...
I've got an 81 Celica for when I just have to drive standard. Why spend $12k, lost the car for a month, and void the warranty?
