Exhaust mod - Europe best option?

Hello everyone. I have a European version supra mk5 (Portugal) and it's time to do something about the sound. I would like to try to keep the car under warranty, so I would like to know what your opinion is, if I should put a cat back and leave the original downpipe, or leave the original exhaust and put the downpipe. about the downpipe I'm afraid of the CEL error being registered and in TOYOTA they can read, even changing to the original downpipe before going there.

Any fiddling with the downpipe, cat, GPF will likely invalidate warranty, may be illegal under your jurisdiction's emissions rules (making the car non road legal) and may invalidate your insurance if the car becomes non road legal. You would be advised to check the rules and laws applicable in Portugal.

Thanks for the answer. I would like to do something to improve the sound but I can see that it brings some concerns. I also saw here on the forum that in "UK" it is usual to do the "back box mod" which helps a lot in the sound, but in Portugal I don't see anyone doing it.. I will continue to think about what I can do. it's a shame that in europe a sports car like ours has such a muffled sound.
