Hey everyone,
After a lot of back and forth, I decided to sell my Exocet to a good friend of mine, that I happen to do track days with. It’s was an absolute blast—lightweight, raw, and just ridiculous fun on track. It started as a really clean 94 Miata that I hated to tear apart but did and then turbocharged.
My buddy, a fellow Miata guy, had been eyeing the Exocet for a while, so it’s going to a good home. Plus, it’ll be cool to still see it on track and maybe even go head-to-head with it once I get the Supra dialed in. Here is me and him.
As far as the Supra goes, my 9 year old son is obsessed with them and always says “is that a Supra?!” everytime we would see one. He didn’t know I reserved one and the dealership was kind enough to put a sold sign in the windshield with his name on it when we “went to look at cars”.
Anyone here made a similar move from something ultra-lightweight to a bigger, turbocharged car? Would love to hear your thoughts on the transition, setup tips, or anything I should watch out for. Have a free cosmetic things on the way, Eibach euro springs here, and PPF scheduled.
