Hello Everyone,

I have question regarding Tuning the car to make extreme burbles via Ecuteck,

does that effect the car in a bad way or is it just increase in volume and it wouldn't harm the car in the long run?

thanks everyone for your time!

Think it just part of the tune...
Doubt it has any effect on the car itself...
Not from everything I have read to be honest. Extreme burble tunes (way beyond factory) can potentially damage factory cats. Lots of debate here, but logically it would make sense.

I'm kind of wondering the same thing. Having the burble slider absolutely cranked shoots flames on my A90. I talked to Visconti Tuning about it and apparently it doesn't cause damage. I have a catless downpipe.

Sounds similar to an extreme burrito effect.

Don't set the burbles at max on a stock downpipe, it might damage your cat and it does not sound good. If you want a more pronounced burble, get a high flow cat or catless downpipe

what if you have catless downpipe, is it okay to set it at max?

Max burbles tells the world more about you than your car
i acutely plan to use it very rarely when I'm far from crowds and want enjoy some sounds, its not gonna be a thing that I have on all the time, I don't think anyone would want that all the time

Well, if the thought that the extreme burples will damage a cat, catless "should" be safe since it's a straight pipe out.

the idea is to be safe all around not just for the cats
