these are all excuses on top of excuses. Even tada can't keep a straight face while talking to people about it as someone pointed out.

It would be different if it this car was worth the 60k something but to each their own, just my opinion.

Dunno what you are alluding to about 911s...lol, 911s continue to be better, not shittier...just saying.

And on top of all that, let's see if this car actually becomes a "worthy" dinosaur... maybe a future M engine of some sort, or a V6 TT, I dunno, that might be wishful thinking.

    Till then, meh... Whatever.

How does one quantify shit? It's faster, handles better, brakes better, has more amenities, is faster when tuned on a stock engine yet is "shittier" how incongruent is that argument?

Also the 2JZ was just a normal engine that was used in normal luxury sedans and coupes. Kinda sounds like the B58 doesn't it?

Also, you totally ignored my main point contributing to the fact that your argument is both flawed and idiotic.

Does it matter, Danny? I have a J29 T Shirt, does that count?

You should probably take the following with the proverbial grain of salt, as it’s only a rumor so far, albeit most of the details are quite plausible, at least up to a point.

That author is on crack. Using the SEMA 3000GT Heritage build and referenced the S58 engine. Ain't gonna happen. Nope...

We’ve certainly made no offer to supply the engine to Toyota – and no request has been made, as far as I know. But it’s an interesting idea, if unlikely for now. It would be a lot for us to give away, you might say. But I’d never say never," said Flausch.
Well, Flausch goes on to say that BMW would have a hard time to greenlight such a deal now that the engine is brand-new.

“As a rule, we don’t offer BMW M engines to third parties because we consider them such a strength of our cars,” Flasch added. “I think it would be a hard decision for a lot of the team to accept – particularly with the S58 being so new. Why would we sell it before we had a chance to use it ourselves in all the places we plan to?"

I’m shooting in the dark here, but this could also mean that the S58 might make it in the Supra in a couple of years after it’s being introduced in the upcoming M3 and M4 models.

I don't why that author used imaged of the SEMA 3000gt but the leaks came from BestCarJP which have been pretty reliable up to this point.

I think it is still possible to think it is a good car even if you're disappointed in it and the decisions made along the way

If the 2025 A90 gets the S58 with a manual gearbox, I will buy it even if priced near $100k. Future collectible for sure. Sure the S58 isn’t bespoke but that combination in the J29 chassis will hold value, no doubt.

The S58 is pretty bespoke. So far it will only be in 4 cars (the X3 M/X4 M/M3/M4).
