Hello Everyone,

I have been working to develop a single mid-pipe (3.5") to dual exit Titanium Exhaust for the 3.0.

Currently there are two design proposals in the works. Both have a minimum order qty of 20.

Option 1, no valves, muffled on both exits. (Valves seem to always rattle in the current configuration).

Option 2, No Valves, straight piped.

Cost is minimal between the two options.

My question to the forum, is there interest in either of these two designs?

If there is enough interest, I would be willing to set up a group buy to have these manufactured.

Below are the two photo-shop design proposals to give an idea of how the exhaust would look.

Thanks!

Gotta find a guinea pig to produce some sound clips, otherwise Boost Logic, Titan, etc. have similar ones with demand.

Just in! After seeing OP's copy/paste job, Adobe is now giving free Photoshop courses :p

All good, Iā€™m working on getting a sample system in.

Should come in significantly cheaper than the other offerings. Assuming my shipping quote is correct.

How significant are we talking? My RK is still cheaper than any other single exit titanium especially for the quality, back purged etc. Iā€™m just curious about whether this will be manufactured state side and wait times etc. material shortages are still a thing sadly. And as mentioned sound clips will definitely need to be put up.

Made in mainland china of course, same oem for other Supra titanium systems. (Titan motor sports and vivid racing).

Cost for muffled is 1300, minus shipping.

Straight piped is 1200, minus shipping.

This would essentially be the VR exhaust minus the pesky Valves that tend to fail on their system.

I would make no profit on this. I work for an automotive oem so thereā€™s a conflict of interest.

Curious if adding a resonator, J-pipe, or helmholtz chamber somewhere would be feasible/of interest to eliminate drone?

Ideally yes, but that would require a bit more R&D than I am personally capable of. Not to mention creating a bespoke titanium hemholtz chamber would likely drive up the price to a level where most would be uninterested.

I'm doubtful there is any data as to the resonance (drone) frequency of the Supra's exhaust?

Assume itā€™s the exact same as the Vivid Vr exhaust, which has been known to crack.

Yes, same base design with some tweaks. I have only heard of the valve in these rattling apart, cracking is a new one to me.
