Hi all,
Got 1 month till my first event and trying to figure out what tires will be best to use. South Florida so it rains a lot then sunny, hot and muggy. So what tires work well for that I don’t plan on lugging extra sets to change out at the events if it rains or dry would prefer to just have 1 set of Dedicated race wheels and tires. Any suggestions on tires, sizes and wheels to get and not spend over 3,000 in total (prefer to be closer to 2,000) would be appreciated.

For your first couple of events, the only things I'd recommend upgrading are the brake pads and brake fluid. Don't worry about tires until you've got a good amount of seat time.

To be clear I’m far from a rookie driver but with that said what pads are people getting the best overall for street and HPDE with less dust than stock?
