I believe everyone read the 2021 Supra dyno result for the B58M30O1
It's around 388whp which is awesome.

The 2020 Supra stage 1 is between 387~402whp by various tuners. I read the G20 M340i which has the same powertrain as 2021 supra B58M30O1, it mentioned the stock dyno result is 346whp of the advertised 382hp M340i. And the stag1 can have 405whp.

I guess the stage1 2021 Supra 3.0 can get a similar result as 405whp.

If the G20 M340i is seeing 346whp stock, that means it has more drivetrain loss than the Supra, so the Supra will have more power to the wheels after a tune than the M340i.

I would say that stage 1 on a 2021 will make less or the same power as the 2020. I could be wrong but I believe the 5-7psi we add to 2020s is already added to the 2021 to compensate for the lower compression. I would think at some point the 2021 will start over working the turbo. Again this is just my speculation I am not an engine expert.

I don't think anyone has confirmed this, only a former member spouting it. We also don't know if there are any turbo differences either. Theoretically we could look at the M340i and make assumptions but the turbos may not be identical in the same way the 2020 Supra and X5 doesn't have the same turbo

The turbos have different part numbers due to the different manifold but from what I have seen they are otherwise identical. I did say this was all my speculation because I don’t have any facts.

Right, but that doesn't confirm or deny that they are the same. I am just saying we don't know until one has been removed from a 2021 Supra.

BMS JB4 dyno for the Z4

Very close to what you are speculating in terms of less gains when tuned/ piggyback

Still time will tell when more dyno sheets for the Supra are provided

I kinda think this too, but then looking at results of m40i's, they seem to gain a good bit still.

I would say our 2020s will be the better car on stock turbo and the 2021 will be able to take more boost up top and be better with a big turbo. This works for me because I want the low and torque for the street. I am completely satisfied with my car after tuning. Well, until I park next to an rs3.... lol
