Headlight recall details?

Does anyone know the details behind the headlight recall? What distinguishes the 245 cars impacted and what is the work instruction on how to identify and fix the problem?

Does anyone have access to the actual recall instruction that they can post?

Remedy not out yet but they will be replacing headlamp control units. im sure dealers are replacing with factory part numbers or downing cars and giving out loaners for affected vehicles. i have yet to see one come in with this issue.

I think I lucked out also. My build date was on 7/05. Hopefully they don't extend the range. I just hit 1000 miles and haven't seen any issues with the lights.

My car went down at 299 miles and has been in the shop since Oct 7 with this issue. Replacement on order...

Same here. Build date 7/10 and a little over 1000 miles with no issues thus far.

I am at the dealership now and this guy is trying to sell me this car. (8/19)
Can somebody confirm this one is on recall? I am here arguing with the dealership that its recalled and he is saying that it’s not and they wouldn’t try to sell me a recalled car.

It’s possible yours isn’t included in recall. I read somewhere else it only applies to Supras built between July 15-25, 2019
