HELP! Pricing on this used Supra!

Hello guys,

Been interested in buying a Supra for a while and been seeing all the deals you guys have got on them. There is this used 2020 Supra 3.0 at my local dealer with about 8K miles for $56,500. I am a first time buyer so I could use a lot of help. Being in the economy and the car shortage how much would you guys pay for it. Have not talked to the people at the dealership but am really interested in purchasing it for the right price. Could use some negotiation tips as well!

Yeah it is a premium looking to finance would be around 6K for down payment. Saw it has a small rock chip in the front hood. Anyway and how I would bring that price down in your opinion?

Dang. Market is really crazy. I paid $51,000 in November 2020 for a new 2021 premium with driver assist. MSRP was $57,500...

Used prices are starting to go down… and there’s still plenty of room for used prices to fall…

New production is slowly ramping up…

Some dealers already have new 2022 models in stock…

I would do some searching on the different websites for a better deal…

As far as tips. Find what new ones are being advertised for on autotrader and other sites. Personally, for an 8,000 mile car, I wouldn't pay more than $3-4000 less than new.

Yeah exactly that was the price I would ideally pay for. I don't know how much room I have to have them bring that price down

That being said the market isn't exactly in a great position for negotiation.. but I can at least check and see if the dealer is in a reasonable area price wise

Careful with online prices. Often, they don’t include doc fees or other costs and what the dealer expects can be significantly more than the advertised price.
