If it helps... I laughed out loud.Jeez, no sense of humor - rough audience!
Amateur driver, perhaps?Porsche driver might be blind. No shot the breaks failed.. but suppose they did, why not drive straight through the chicane like intended?
Finally, someone who's not cranky! If it helps... I laughed out loud.![]()
I don't think that most Porsche GT? owners would "beg for mercy". I certainly wouldn't. But the Supra addition was probably meant to imply that an ultra wealthy Pagani owner would be furious if a young inexperienced punk in a Supra totaled the Pagani because such a lowlife should not be on the same track as billionaires. The footage of this wreck has been around for a while, though I believe the “brake failure” comment is new, I don’t recall that and I also don’t buy it. The Supra thing at the end was added recently also and I don’t really understand that part or get the joke?
The Porsche driver requiring consoling by the Pagani driver has always frustrated me about this video. “Oh this must be so hard for you…”
Anyway, ridiculous wreck but not sure it’s funny![]()
Ah, lack of experience!Old movie indeed
Track is 'Monza' in Italy
Anybody who knows that track, knows that the porsche just went on the brakes.... way to late.
It is the first corner after the straight... where before applying the brakes, the car can reach speeds over 250km/h.
If you don't apply the brakes in time and you 'steer in the car', thats what you get as a result. Did not know his own speed + could not judge where the Pagani would be, at the time the porsche enters the corner.
Corner is at second 23 in this clip
Who want to try it for themselves, race the track in the game 'assetto corsa competizione' and try out yourself what happens![]()
Which is bizarre even judging by the video of the comments.I don't think that most Porsche GT? owners would "beg for mercy". I certainly wouldn't. But the Supra addition was probably meant to imply that an ultra wealthy Pagani owner would be furious if a young inexperienced punk in a Supra totaled the Pagani because such a lowlife should not be on the same track as billionaires.
Remember that I'm a Supra owner, but am trying to put myself in the shoes of the (elitist?) video creator. I still think that which is intended as an insult is in itself, funny.
