My key ring has two things on it: my car key, and my car alarm remote.

Any MKIV owner will probably tell you no key chain, it rubs the dash panels as you drive, leaving scratches. All my other cars also have no additional keys on them, and 4 are the proximity fobs so no need to even mess with it.
