The red piece is already off. If someone needs instructions on how to pop that red cover off they have zero business doing anything in that engine bay. Just close the hood.Crap
I try not to touch anything in the engine. Recently broke the rear hatch emergency door latch (I know, I shouldn’t have touched it….), so ironic this thread came up. Had no idea they’re not just rubber removable like every other battery I‘ve seen. As usual thx brotha!

(Edit: I’ll let my wife do this part. I see the two pics are reversed. Where do you attach the positive and negative ground battery tender contacts? I’m used to seeing the big fat red rubber and black rubber covers. I’m assuming the big one is positive and there’s a ground outside of the picture

Sorry, totally glossed over that you wanted to do the clips. Positive would go on that massive looking bolt under the red cap. Someone else circled the negative post in the picture below…OMG
Ideally 1 of 5 cars will pull into the 3rd bay of my 3 car garage and clip on overnight. If it doesn’t fit, I’ll do the permanent hookup like you’ve got and just leave it in there. Thanks again!!
