Hello,

Just did this today so figured I'd take some pics and write it up, pretty simple. Took amount 3 minutes all up

Works best on a warm day or if car has been in the sun for a while to loosen the glue, otherwise just use a hairdryer

Get some fish wire, or even tooth floss if you double it up will be fine

With a sawing motion work your way through the glue, try the other side also working your way to the middle

Eventually the plastic logo will come off totally

Since the glue was still warm I just started picking it off the paint and using clumps of the glue to pull the rest off

If that doesn't work then use a goo remover or eucalyptus oil to soften the glue

At this point I used goo remover and a paper towel to gently remove any excess glue

and here's the end result

Pretty happy with it, that TOYOTA logo was kind of silly looking especially since there was a round logo just above it

Hope this helps!

Huh, my Supra (USA) did not have that little TOYOTA emblem above the Supra.

I had to remove an emblem off my other car as a piece of it broke off in the harsh winter. There really was no quick/easy way to do it. Basically same as you, I just picked at the adhesive little by little and used WD40 (spray oil) followed by RC car motor spray to remove all WD40/adhesive residue. Then polish and wax afterwards.

Before doing the work, it might be good to mask the Supra emblem just to ensure you don't get any solvents dripping on that logo's adhesive you want to keep.

Nice thread and congratulations on picking up an early manual here in oz. I will be removing that stupid Toyota badge and also the GR badge as soon as it gets home.

Thank you bro, you saved me from throwing my phone into the wall because i found every other part number EXCEPT that one. 🙄
Be sure to select a local dealer below the price to purchase through. When I do that the price of everything goes down about 20% so it could be cheaper.

Yeah, eventually i'll get it, i'm trying to get a little notebook going on part numbers of stuff for the Supra that the US Spec ones don't come with. So far, tail lights, reflector triangle, and toyota badging. 😂 next up would be the matrix headlights that the US doesn't get. 🙄
