I once was in an HPDE group with a C7 Z06 at Blackhawk Raceway and I lapped him at least once in every session. I was in a mostly stock FRS with a square 255 Dunlop ZII setup. Only mods I had were camber bolts in the front and a catback. It's all about the driver mod, and being able to be confident with the car you're driving. I could see that dude's fear every time he went near the throttle on corner exit.

Maybe he would have benefitted from some seat time in a slower car.

I think he needs to work on his timing when it comes to shifting

He overtook the Bimmer and 911 though!

I drove an M235i at Nurburgring last year and while I am quite comfortable in a car of that power and thought I did quite well, I also think that pushing it hard in a slower car could have been a blast.

If the price is over 60k I'd be tempted to look at 911s that are a few years old. That's just my opinion though.
