Evoking the look of GT racing cars, yellow running lights bring a touch of the racetrack to the front of the new Supra. Both in the welcome sequence triggered when unlocking the doors and when the low and high beam headlights are switched on, the angular daytime running lights illuminate in yellow rather than white.

Now you can bring the same motorsport detail to the front of your A90 / A91 GR Supra with new LED boards for your Daytime Running Light modules.

Product Details:
  • Applications: North American-spec A90 / A91 MK5 GR Supra; not tested on international models
  • Plug and Play installation; no ugly wiring, no error codes, no permanent headlight modifications or bumper removal
  • The OE LED boards utilize two Torx screws and a small amount of thermal paste to fasten to the heatsink. The new boards include a full size, pre-applied special thermal adhesive to aide in heat transfer and help longevity; remove original LED boards and just peel and stick the new Race Style Yellow LED boards before replacing the screws.
  • Set includes LED boards for both driver and passenger side headlights
  • Installation instructions included

Do yall remember spending tons of time and money on every car we owned in the 90s and early 00s to remove all yellow from our headlights 😆 . And now were making them yellow on purpose. I just dont get it.

We do! Now that nearly every vehicle on the road has extremely bright white DRL's, even BMW started to use yellow DRL's for its specialty models like the M4 CSL and the M3 and M5 CS models.

Various motorsports teams also use yellow lighting for Touring Car and 24 hour races, this is where the trend originated.

doesn't yellow headlight indicate slow cars in a multi series race?

I wouldn't say that's exactly accurate. The yellow lighting originated far before the faster Prototype classes were launched. Production car classes use yellow lighting while Prototypes use white, generally so when GT cars see white light, they know what's coming up on them.

But technically yes, now you can frame it that way.

I have been wanting this forever!!!! Finally, if I wanted to go back to stock, would there any issue removing these boards and putting factory ones in? When the headlights are on, would the DRL strip be yellow as well?

I was actually one of the few that liked the amber and yellow. I did yellow H4 bulbs for my fog light, and still did 194 amber when i did clear corners. Though back in the day, yellow fog lights were the cool thing to do, JDM cars had factory yellow fog lights (i bought JDM fog lights for my FD just for the "OEM" yellow).
