Infotainment system calls my own phone number

Kind of what the title states is the infotainment system will call my own phone number but my phone itself doesnt dial or ring. It just comes up on the touch screen that I am calling someone through the car but it is my own number. Multiple times today I had to end this phantom call. Has anyone come across this?

No, I never experienced that at all. I don't think it's the phone. I do believe it's the shitty BMW software in the car. I will keep an eye on my car to see if it does it. Ill try to test it.

I dont know what is happening. It didnt happen today but it was only happening when I was using the wireless charging. Maybe it was just a random thing that happened one day and it figured itself out? I dont know. haha.

Is it possible that your phone is trying to call your voice mail or account information?
