Courtesy of Jalopnik, is this new 2018/2019 Toyota Supra rendering which purports to be the most accurate illustration (they call it "spot on") of the Supra MKV to date, based on information they obtained from an insider source.

Good effort but I'm not a big fan. The FT-1 had a flowing shape with organic lines, but this is full of hard lines... especially that front bumper. Also the front hood is too long compared to what we've seen on the spied prototypes.

So basically I hope the insider source is not an insider source at all, or is wrong :)

I know it's just a rendering and it's not terrible but I expect more...that front reminds me of the 92-96 Honda Prelude for some reason.

Looks like it took styling cues from the BMW Zagato Coupe Concept. I actually wouldn't be surprised if the Z5 looks more like the rendering from Jalopnik.

These "insiders" are full of it! Lol
A hundred dollars says the front won't look like this at all.

Looking at driver side fake taillight, I think its an air vent.

That looks like its a few decades behind the times. Even if it hits all the right specs I don't think I could stomach that design. It doesn't help they put those nasty wheels on it but still. I hope they are way off the mark here.

Definately has an 80's angular nose to it. For some reason it kinda reminds me of my MKII Celica-Supra. Not as sexy as the concept but I'd still rock it.

Looks like a bomex aftermarket front bumper and headlights. The wheels look like they came out of a crossover. Lol

    Same here

The wheels are awful. Looks like a mix of the FT-CH and Corolla SE.

What a let down these renderings are after the amazing looking FT-1. Toyota may have set their customers up for disappointment.

The renderings are a let down, but im going to try and hold off judgment until we see the real thing.

on another note, everyone also thought the LC prototype looked bland and boring. the final version looks pretty good IMO. i think we should all just wait and not jump the gun.

but if you are reading this Toyota, please do not make it like the Jalopnik rendering. that thing loooks like @ss.

^ same here. I would find it hard paying $50k+ if this is what it looks like.

The BMW drawing does show air vents in the rear.

everyone don't let up, that mule ain't the Supra, this is all hype from fake articles written on unpopular car websites like Caradvice from Australia which then gets used as sources on Motor Trend and C&D articles. Anyone can try to draw similarities but until there is something actually official this is all bullshit. For my two cents, that mule is the Z5M.

Remember what Toyota did with the LF-LC and how that turned out with the Lexus LC...Toyota won't disappoint us here.
