Anyone trying this alternative for tuning? Is it possible . Engine management is technically the same for all B58..

I mean I have a JB4(B58) in my office but, I just got my tune from Bigboost. I may just do a comparison video between STOCK - JB4 - BIGBOOST(BM3)

But I mean to use it for more tuning accessibility since I keep hearing there’s an issue escalating boost the ECU limits 23lbs where our Pure turbos can get +\- 30lbs for that 650whp

We can crack 9s with 650whp and a slick. Which is what I want to do. Full weight 9s on a tire

Over the winter that's what I will be trying for. Going to have a full exhaust fabbed up, new manifold, new turbo, fueling everything. I'm just trying to enjoy it stock for the moment.

I am currently the only one using JB4 on the Supra. I have been working with Terry and have had it on there for almost 4 weeks now. I made 424whp and 482ft/lbs on Map 3 and that is on 93 octane with intake and downpipe. He is not working on a calibration as this was a standard B58 JB4 and everything was plug and play.

Oh okay, I had been told they possibly needed to adjust the maps, but I guess not!

There weren't any options out for intakes when I wanted it so I drew a new senor flange in CAD and had it machined. I took the time to design it exactly like the OEM. I fabricated a new intake with a provision for the new flange, TIG'd it and got it powdercoated black. I paired it with a K&N cone filter for maximum flow. I will upload some pics hopefully tomorrow. I have the filter going into the area leading to the front bumper for cooler air. Sounds amazing and works even better.

Yeah I ran maps 1-3 and datalogged each one and they were all good!
So far the car has experienced: 7 dyno pulls, 1/4 Mile Runs, Tail of the Dragon runs 10+, and roll racing. Pushing 6psi over stock and absolutely no issues so far. The datalogging on the fly has been super convenient for this process.

I'm trying to decide between JB4 and BM3. Why did you decide to go with JB4 instead of a bench flash?
