Finally got time to lineup the VRS Wing and Canards. Going to end up getting an authentic. No issues with the VRS wing, fitment was decent but just a touch movement when driving, very very minor but I’m OCD with that. Others haven’t had issues on track with it but personal preference the wing going authentic next. Looks amazing tho and the current downforce balances the car

realized also that the VRS Wing mounts are hollow and not solid so probably why there’s slight movement. Could get mounts custom made or try to make them more rigid but nah lol

Switched over to the black Verus heatshield. Can see the color difference between their black vs silver

Changed up to the carbon armaspeed intake cover as well. It’s not a straight swap from the covers, you’ll have to swap the intake box housing piece as well. Luckily the intake tube stays without needing to remove it for the swap

The rep varis wing is nice but I’m going back to a track focused build with the Verus setup again haha. Gonna mix it with some carbon bits here and there

JSmoothBui - I know I'm late to the party with my questions since you don't have either of them installed, but:

What was your opinion on the Verus wing when you had it? Any issues with it? I've was first considering the A90shop Delta Wing but I saw 2 different ones in person recently and both of them looked like sub-par quality (hardware was rusting, clear coat was fading and oxidizing). I daily my car and it's parked outside unfortunately most of the time so I'm concerned about the quality of the CF and clearcoat. How did the Verus hold up when you did have it?

Also, how did you like white wheels? I'm also considering them but I'm super nervous with brake dust, even if I find low dust pads.

I went through like three Verus wings actually haha.
so I love the quality of the Verus Engineering wing. Very very well made, packaging was superb, etc. mounting and installing was a breeze because of the template they provided

first wing I had paint matched and sold because I went on a random journey of wrapping the car and wanted cf again. So i picked up another then sold to do the bootleg varis pieces. But I missed proper functionality so went back to Verus again after getting it from a local.

for any cf pieces I always ceramic coat them personally to upkeep it from UV and normal cleaning purposes. This time around I did also ppf the top half of the Verus wing and ceramic coated with CarPro U.K3.0

i LOVE white wheels, on my previous typeR I had daily and track white wheels haha. Right now for the Supra I’ve been debating painting the titans white and possibly my oem set as well but haven’t gotten around to do it. The white TEs were beautiful, but with white wheels I’d say expect a weekly or biweekly cleaning at least because they do get dirty quickly especially when it rains. White wheels really change the look of the car for the better in my opinion haha

Ended up filling the holes of the trunk from the faris wing. Ended up pretty nice. I plan to get the trunk resprayed if I ever take the wrap off and go back to absolute zero

trunk material seems to be mainly plastic I guess, so some jbweld putty did the trick and sanded smoothly enough when I ran my fingers across

Verus Engineering high downforce front splitter! (https://www.verus-engineering.com/s...ront-splitter-kit-mk5-toyota-supra-3652#attr=)

man this thing is a beauty as it is larger all around than the V1 splitter but most importantly incorporates the splitter diffusers/tunnels underneath

install was fairly straightforward. I had the V1 splitter before so the cutting and rivnuts were already done

only extra cutting I had to do was the area in the fender well so the splitter diffuser tunnels will sit flush. Also there’s one small area underneath the side of the bumper you will need to drill a hole so the hardware can sit flush through

The install I did alone as one person so I used the help of my jack and jackstands to help situate and hold up the splitter so I can fine tune it so everything can sit flush. Note: I had to slightly less than 0.5mm lightly sand down one side of the splitter diffuser cuz it wouldn’t sit flush when i bolted the splitter diffusers/tunnels. Minor thing nothing difficult , anyone can do in my opinion
Also , I added some black tape on the splitter diffuser/tunnel bolts to make sure everything is sealed when I drilled through the carbon diffuser/tunnels
