Just took delivery tonight, picked up a 2021 3.0 Premium for $2k under invoice. I will dearly miss my old M3 but a beautiful sound and appearance can only get you so far when power/creature comforts are lacking. I'm finishing up a turbo e30 build so I'll likely just DD it bone stock for now but will be built up in the future once the E30 is "finished". Glad to be part of a flourishing model specific forum again!
The old M3:
She was beautiful but just cracked 100k and my E46 M3 threw a rod bearing and punched a hole in the block at 120k. I love this car but I'm not going through that again...
The new Supra:
Likely diving right into a downpipe and tune assuming the 2021 ECU lock I read almost nothing about is resolved.
Bonus pics of the E30 so far:
Just barely got the front valance on, still have to find a permanent location for the oil cooler and button lots of stuff up but cliff notes are:
-freshly rebuilt m20
-megasquirt 2
-gt35r
-all bushings solid poly or delrin
-probably at least 50 other things, it's been 2 years but I'm done making this post and want to browse the forums
