The interior of the 2020 Supra prototype is still very much covered up, but its fit and finish is much better than earlier spotted interiors.

The BMW influence is still there as the steering wheel, shift knob, center console control knob, and full digital instrument panel are straight from BMW. The shift knob has been updated from previous prototypes and now features BMW's latest shift knob design. The nice contrast stitching on the steering wheel and dash is clearly visible in these photos.

And although the exposed parts show BMW parts, the shape and configuration of the dash and center console differ from the spied Z4 prototype interior (pics below). What we see in these photos is somewhat reminiscent of the Lexus RC's design.

    Compare to Z4 prototype interior:

And compare to earlier Supra prototype:

DAmn man I hate to keep being so down about things, but I have to keep calling it as I see it.

The interior is just a BMW to me, and that's a problem.

I SEE NOTHING "SUPRA" about this interior !!! I only see BMW.

    DISSAPPOINTED.

It's an odd mix of modern Toyota and BMW. Not sure I like the BMW elements to be honest.

The exposed parts are BMW but you can tell under the covering that the design and shape of the dashboard is definitely different than the Z4.

Not quite getting that same excitement from the new one, to be honest.

BMW didn’t even give toyota the latest steering switch gear. Those on the Supra’s steering wheel are the last generation of BMW steering controls. Sad.

This is just an insult. This tells me all I need to know, BMW should sell the Supra as their newest model.

Every one raves about German interiors and such, in pure objectivity they have nothing better than other car makers, they are often worse.

    Too late to change anything.
