The other month I had low coolant levels but no evidence of any leaks. I had the coolant system pressure checked the other week prior to my track day and they couldn’t find any leaks. The system held pressure during the initial check and then a second test after they got the car up to temperature.
I went to go check this morning after the track day and I saw the levels were just under the max line it was filled up to previously but no evident leaks at any connections. I then saw moisture at the base of the sensor connection on top of the coolant reservoir (see picture) and I am thinking this might be the issue. Anyone else notice this after track days and very aggressively pushing the car? It would make sense this would be causing coolant to evap off the system and drop extremely slowly over time.
