Mastery of Art & Design (MAD) specializes in BMW bolt-on aftermarket parts. The current catalog includes BMW charge pipes, downpipes, and intercoolers. All high-quality pieces backed by a fitment guarantee and a lifetime warranty!

MAD offers 90-days to return any product; if you do not like it, send it back.

Upgrade to the MAD BMW downpipes to eliminate the backpressure caused by your stock catalytic converters. By upgrading to our downpipes, your turbos can now spool faster and achieve maximum power. As a bonus, your car will sound a lot nicer as well.

Expect up to a 30HP increase on a tuned BMWs with stock turbos, even more on cars with upgraded turbos.

Features:
  • Smooth bends for maximum airflow without any drone
  • Up to 30HP increase on the stock turbos, even more on upgraded turbos
  • Lifetime warranty on defects and fitment
  • 90 day return period
  • Spot on fitment

?$167 for a downpipe seems unreal. Is that to get the pipe in peoples hands for marketing? I almost want to buy one just to have it in case I ever want to go catless and the 21's are unlocked. Would be interested in any reviews of this.

the $167 price is only valid for 2 more days, it goes back to $239 after that which is still a great price.

Installed last night with stock exhaust, the fitment was perfect after you have everything lined up properly. The quality is great and there is a huge weight and size difference compared to stock given this downpipe is catless, but the biggest difference of course will be the sound. I'd say start up in comfort mode would be equal to starting sport mode with the stock downpipe and then some, but quiets down fairly quickly. Startup in sport is ridiculously loud. Driving around, you will definitely hear the turbo whistle in both modes, upshifts and downshifts are night and day difference and much more crisp. Overall the car feels completely different and I couldn't be more happy to have stumbled upon this. Very similar to the many other catless downpipes offered, just at an amazing price. (Thanks to XPH that is)
