Hi,
I regularly check for new parts for the Supra and found out this HPFP:
https://maximumpsi.com/products/b58-toyota-supra-high-pressure-fuel-pump-a90
I was about to pull the trigger but then I read the description:
Genuine BMW B58 Z4 / A90 B58 Supra HPFP
Item '1' in diagram. BMW Part number - 13518631642
Upgrade for cars with early B58 engine. Will support 600whp on gasoline fuels, and will support stronger ethanol blends. Direct swap for early B58 cars. Will require extending wiring harness with included parts.
So I don't get it, early B58? Did Toyota/BMW released a revision on the B58 for the A90? Is this a stock part? Then why it says upgrade, don't really understand what's going on. Is this a real upgrade to the HPFP on the A90? This is basically the bottle neck of the engine right now, is the reason why people are using port injection.
