Maxton V2 front spoiler lip installed

Installed a Maxton V2 front lip spoiler. Great fitment and pretty simple install (search online for install). It comes super glossy. Had to repaint it with Wurth satin trim to get it to look like the OEM trim. Grey scuff pad, clean, adhesion promoter, primer, light sand, Wurth satin black. By the way, tried the SEM trim black first, and it was too flat. Probably could have used some SEM satin clear. Anyways, install pretty straight forward. The 10 mm nuts above the spoiler, inside the existing trim are a little tough to get in there with your hands. Used 3M tape, a lot, around different areas in addition to the bolts. Rock solid, in my opinion. Photos attached. I like the V2. It's not too much, not too little.

I had to think quite a bit before doing mine as the red accent V3 looks so good on black. I decided to do the V2 as OP, but left it gloss finish. I really like how it turned out.

I found mine in stock both times I ordered. However shipping is $130 lol. once I started pricing around,it’s barely more then the prices people charge regularly. So the vendors are obviously raising the prices to compensate for the shipping

Hmm. My shipping was only quoted for $40 from maxtondesignusa.net. Did you order straight from the UK site maxtondesign.co.uk?

That is correct. I ordered the front lip from Maxton usa and shipping is cheap. However everything else Is only in stock in the Uk. They charge $159 instead of 209-260 for the side skirts which is what I was finding everywhere else. Most likely to offset some of the shipping costs

Wow, that looks great! I had to zoom in the photo to see the CF texture. Love it.

Yeah, looks like FTSpeed is out of stock on them too. I just wrote to MD in the UK to confirm actual availability as most US vendors are out of stock.

I plan on making it blend with the OEM lip in a satin black like @sbodnar did. I'm going to try plasti-dip first as I'm not that experienced in vinyl wrapping.

They all say free shipping. Keep in mind it’s added into the price and then some lol

You wont be able to add it to the cart if it’s out stock. It will say pre order

The lip is shipped /w plastic protective layer and once taken off, it is quite shiny but it is very easy to get scratch. I guess plastidip will provide some protection.
