Ye stock, since Tada said its around 7:40 car and A70TTR mentioned the prototype did 7:38 so I guess a +~5-7s for production model seem resonable.
Between M2 and M2C... I thought there were more changes that affect "speed" between the two. I really wanna see more times from shorter tracks. MKV will be slower on straigh ttho, esp on higher speeds.

I've always had the urge to shove my excrement up mouths of people such as you are, but for this one, you get my vote.

I 100% agree with everything he said. From owning various Toyotas, to love of the 90's cars, to owning a Porsche 997, to having back seats just for random stuff, to having a manual gearbox, to having cross shopped with cars in the MKV's price point, to avoiding the 1st production, to not believing that BMW would share M technology with the Supra, to buy a Cayman or an M2C.

The M2C is such a fantastic car. So engaging to drive. Which I find really impressive given its weight. BMW did a great job tuning the suspension/chassis. The S55 is a great powerplant too. My only complaint would be its sound. Which definitely isn't as good as the N55, but it isn't bad by any means. Oh, and don't get me started on the muffler. I mean, couldn't they have figured something else out that doesn't hang down like some robot scrotum?

I actually had a order in for a 2020 M2C in Hockenheim Silver with DCT. Unfortunately circumstances changed and I had to cancel it. Now the fun car will come next year. Which I'm fine with since it will give me ample time to consider all my options. Including the MKV Supra. Can't wait to find out how it compares. Definitely don't expect the same level of practicality, but also wouldn't mind since it would be a secondary car.

I really do love the S55, other than the noise it makes and the crank hub issues which has yet to be remedied from the factory. I also don't love the fact that it doesn't actually handle THAT well. It feels very nice, but it does not actually have as much grip as one might expect.

For me a lack of grip when you want it is part of what I found so fun about it for street use. I could see that getting annoying on the track though. However, I don't race any of my cars. So I can remain blissfully unaware :p
